Addresses:

• Addresses require municipality definition and must be within the Greater Vancouver Regional District

E.g. "2056 Nanaimo St" should be "2056 Nanaimo st, Vancouver

• The street type following a street name is often unnecessary

E.g. "710 Rupert Street, Vancouver" and "710 Rupert, Vancouver" could both be used

• If an address is rejected, try switching the prefix street direction to a suffix

E.g. Change the "W" in "824 W 15th Ave" to "825 15th Ave W"

 

Intersections:

• Denote with "&" or "and"

E.g. "Main & 5th E, Vancouver"

Common Places:

• Some common places will be recognized (some require definition of a municipality, others do not)

E.g."UBC", "Broadway Skytrain", "Deer Lake Park, Burnaby" or "Vancouver International Airport"
