New and much
improved data!
We have added new routes, and
fixed some of the old ones that needed it.
Our data is a work in progress
and your feedback is helping. If you find any problems in our data please email
us a screen shot or the kml from your suggested along with a description of the
problem.

Our printable directions page now includes a map
We thought it would be
useful to have a map in the printable directions page, so we made it happen.
Saveable routes
The route planner now spits out
your route in Google Earth KML. Save it for later or show your friends!
Looking for something?
Perhaps, you don’t know the
location of where you’re trying to go. We’ve enabled the map with Google Search
so that you can explore more.
Add data to the map
Check the boxes and click the
‘Update Layers’ button.
No more Google Earth view
But you can still view your
route in 3D on your computer. Click the ‘Download KML’ button and then install
Google Earth on your computer (http://earth.google.com/).

Get addresses from map clicks
In response to pesky requirements
for address formatting, we’ve developed a function where CycleVancouver users
can click on the map and have the address at that location placed in either the
From Address or the To Address text box. To do this, simply click the ‘get from
map click’ button above either box, and then click on the map. Be careful to
zoom in and click on a street to get an address that is specific enough for the
trip planner to use!

View your route with Google Earth map style
Want to see your route in 3D? Now you can! Just click on the ‘Earth’ map type button after the trip planner has drawn your route.

Printable text directions
You can now print just
the route suggestion by clicking the ‘Printer Friendly Output’ button beneath the
suggested route. Save ink!
New colour
ramp
You complained; we responded! Although there are difficulties creating sequential color themes for the overlay of transparent lines onto Google Maps, we thought at least our new ramp’s colours are a little more pleasant than the old one’s green, pink, and brown.
New Data
We have stitched together new data from many of your comments and from information that we have received from Translink. This includes the Central Valley Greenway, the new Skytrain bridge to Richmond, and much more.
